Mount Ijen Blue Fire Tour - From Bali
ITINERARY
Day 1: Bali - Banyuwangi (Ijen area)
- Pick up from your accommodation in Bali area at 6pm. We do pick-ups anywhere within Bali (eg. Kuta, Canggu, Ubud, Nusa Dua)
- Travel to Gilimanuk port. This journey can take about 4-5 hours, depending on your pick-up point.
- Hop on a 1 hour ferry from Gilimanuk (Bali) to Ketapung Ferry Port (Banyuwangi).
Day 2: Mount Ijen - Blue Flames - Bali
- Travel 2 hours from Ketapung Ferry Port to Mount Ijen.
- Hike 2–3 hours or take the “trolley taxi” (optional) to the summit of Mount Ijen.
- Hike another 45 mins from the summit of Mt Ijen to the bottom of the Ijen lake, where you can see the famous Blue Fire of Ijen. (Kindly note that sighting of the Blue Fire is dependent on weather and is NOT guaranteed).
- Finish hiking at Mount Ijen by 8–9 am.
- Have breakfast before heading back to Bali.
- Have breakfast while travelling to Ketapung ferry port.
- Hop on a 1 hour ferry from Ketapung Ferry Port (Banyuwangi) to Gilimanuk (Bali).
- Drop-off at your Bali accommodation
